What should I order? Menu photo and the dishes that fit you best

Enter the calories and protein you have left today, snap the menu or the set-menu board and the AI reads the dishes, estimates each one and suggests the three that fit best, with the change to ask the waiter for (salad instead of chips, sauce on the side).

Choose at the table, not afterwards

Food photo apps count the calories of the dish once it is in front of you. Here you take the photo before ordering: of the menu or the set-menu board. The AI reads the dishes and estimates a normal restaurant portion (with its oil and sides), and a fixed rule picks the three that best fit what you have left today, weighting staying under your calories first and protein second.

For each dish we tell you what to ask to change (the side, sauce on the side, grilled instead of fried) and how many calories that saves. If it is a set menu, we also suggest the best starter and main pair. If you use the PesaFit food diary with a target, what you have left fills in by itself.

Frequently asked questions

What should I order at a restaurant on a diet?

A grilled or baked protein (fish, chicken, legumes) with a vegetable or salad side. Ask for the sauce on the side and swap chips for salad: you save 250–300 kcal and still eat well.

How many calories are in a set lunch menu?

Between 900 and 1,500 kcal depending on what you choose: a hearty starter and a fried main with chips can top 1,400, while a salad and grilled fish stay around 700. Dessert and bread add another 200–400.

How accurate are the calories from the photo?

They are estimates for a normal restaurant portion, within about 20–30%: oil and portion size vary a lot between places. They are for comparing dishes and choosing, not counting to the gram.
